Colquitz Creek Restoration

LaCas Consultants Inc. provided design and construction inspection services for the installation of 2 log weirs and 2 rock weirs within Colquitz Creek. The weirs upstream of Quick's Bottom Wetland, were specially designed to create riffle pool geomorphology, hydraulic diversity, increase DO levels and energy dissipation within the stream channel to enhance the existing stream channel geomorphology and fisheries habitat.
