River Engineering Design of Re-Usable Temporary Flood Control Works

LaCas Consultants Inc. provided pre-flood engineering expertise along the Fraser River for two flood vulnerable including the Meeker Log & Timber Mill Site and Lougheed Highway East, of Nelson Road in Mission, B.C. Timely, cost effective and practical solutions were provided so that temporary flood control works could be erected quickly, if and when needed. In addition, the materials could be re-used by the District of Mission. The final designs were incorporated into the District of Mission's design standards.
